brony day?

Too many edits make a journal cluttered, and a visual representation of my train of thought isn't pretty. >.> Anyway, it's been a few days, and I haven't heard back from the person who won the free pony, so I've decided to draw a new name, because it looks bad on my part to offer a free pony and then not give it to anyone. So, the new winner is puddinandpie88, who picked Applejack! ...I think. Whatevs, though, congrats to her. ^^

Anyway, still going to do this in December, only I've decided it's going to work a little differently; I'm going to make four different ponies (dunno which ones, yet, I'll figure it out when I get there, though, Derpy Hooves or DJ PON-3 will probably be one, though) and raffle one off each Sunday, because my family is huge on advent and all that, so what better way to celebrate the season of giving and advent and all that with free ponies? X3

It's Brony Day, apparently. Having just recently gotten on the brony bandwagon (read: I get bored at work and watch MLP all day >.>), I haven't made any pony miniatures or plushies. Suppose I ought to change that, so drop me a comment if you'd like to see a pony plushie/miniature (I can do OCs, too), and at the end of the day tomorrow (going to extend it into tomorrow, 'cause I was a little late in the game) (if there's more than one...or even one at all XD) I'll pick one at random, and whoever chose it I'll send it your way, no charge. Mostly because I'm bored out of my brains, am sick of Tracks, and am looking at four hours of being stuck on top of a lighthouse tomorrow with nothing better to do. >.>

Anyway, speaking of Tracks, he's almost done...he's just driving me completely insane with his kibble. DX Also, I'm thinking of, instead of embroidering eyes on, I should just cut pieces out of fabric and glue them on...any thoughts? I just hated making Ratchet's eyes, and remember the best part of making Soundwave was his eyeband. 'Course, in the case of 'bots like Ratchet, who are always grumpy looking, I'd embroider on their angry eyebrows, and I'd keep embroidering their mouths, but the eyes are just so hard to embroider. D:

In the meantime, I've also just finished up my how-to-crochet tutorial, the creative process when designing a plushie video, and I'm going to make what boils down to a shorter version of the second one...because the second one is /really/ long and chronicles most of the design process (including all my screw-ups), the third I want to basically just be "this is how you do it, now go out and do it". I dunno when my family's going out again, so I dunno when I'll be able to do that, but hopefully soon.

And as far as real life nonsense goes, I'm moving out in a few weeks, so yay and stuff. I'm planning on moving in with my father so we can fix cars together and stuff, and I can learn more about Ironhide so I can fix his many problems on my own. The right way, anyway. (Going all Gordon Freeman on your radio is not the right way to fix a battery problem, by the way.) The downside is that I'm probably going to lose a lot of my yarn and hooks during the moving process, and I won't have a desk down there, so my miniatures are going to have to be put on hold even more. NUUUUUU DX I haven't made miniatures in forever...I miss them. D:
